Description
This fuel has been approved as an authorised fuel for use in a smoke control area. Whilst no smoke should be produced from the use of this fuel in any appliance, it could be that smoke will arise when the fuel is used to cook food (e.g. when used in chargrill). If smoke is emitted in such cases, the local authority could ask for measures to be taken to stop these emissions, such as by adapting the charcoal-burning appliance or enforcement action being taken if considered as Statutory Nuisance, which is defined in legislation in Environmental Protection Act 1990.
